Stephen A. Smith Teases Brick Returning to General Hospital

Stephen A. Smith is bringing Brick back to General Hospital. The sports commentator and podcast host is ready to return to Port Charles, and he is desperately needed.

Stephen A. Smith revealed that he will return to GH in the next couple of weeks. During a clip of his podcast, Smith discussed taping additional scenes as Brick. He also spoke to the guest’s mom, who happened to be celebrating her birthday and was a big fan of Smith’s character.

Having Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) around is great, but he is preoccupied with Nathan’s (Ryan Paevey) return. Brick offers an increased level of security for Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Jason (Steve Burton).

Sidwell (Carlo Rota) poses a significant problem for Sonny and Jason, particularly due to his efforts to infiltrate Port Charles. He wants their piers for nefarious things that could cause harm. However, no one has put things together that Sidwell is also working on Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) project.

Meanwhile, Anna (Finola Hughes) is missing after confiding her fears about Faison being alive to Jason. She’s now a pawn in the game Sidwell and his people are playing. Brennan (Chris McKenna) warned Laura (Genie Francis) about Anna’s disappearance, while also assigning Joss (Eden McCoy) to keep watch on Lucas (Van Hansis) and Marco (Adrian Anchondo).

Brick will likely return near the end of the month or the beginning of December, based on taping his scenes sometime this week. Hopefully, he will have more information about what has occurred with the research being done at the resort and how Nathan seemingly dropped in from out of nowhere.

Smith always gives an excellent performance in the role of Brick. His charisma and charm lend the character depth, while also highlighting his ability to get the job done for Sonny and Jason.
