Reba McEntire praised both the song choice and the delivery, telling Clark, “Absolutely incredible. You sang it beautifully, and I would love to have you on my team as a fellow country singer. You did a wonderful job and I’m very proud of you.”

Niall Horan, meanwhile, drew a comparison to one of country’s biggest stars. “You had one of those really unique voices, kind of like Carrie Underwood, and it really pierced through,” he told her. Noting her emotional delivery, he guessed she was also a songwriter and said he’d love the chance to help her develop.

A Difficult ChoiceClark invited her parents onto the stage before making her decision, clearly moved by the moment. Looking at McEntire, she admitted, “Miss Reba, I love you so much. I have looked up to you my entire life.”

But in a surprise twist, Clark ultimately chose Team Niall.
