Kayleigh Clark, a 20-year-old from Sumrall, Mississippi, stole the spotlight on NBC’s The Voice Monday night with a stunning rendition of Sugarland’s 2007 hit “Stay.” Written by Jennifer Nettles, the emotional ballad gave Clark the perfect platform to showcase her powerhouse vocals—and the performance was strong enough to earn the ultimate Blind Audition honor: a four-chair turn.
All Four Coaches Hit Their Buttons
Snoop Dogg, Reba McEntire, Niall Horan, and Michael Bublé each turned their chairs for the rising star, eager to land her on their team.
Reba McEntire praised both the song choice and the delivery, telling Clark, “Absolutely incredible. You sang it beautifully, and I would love to have you on my team as a fellow country singer. You did a wonderful job and I’m very proud of you.”
Bublé admitted it was tough to follow Reba’s pitch but shared his deep love for country music, even joking about his dream of making a Nashville record. “I’d love for you to even consider me, even though you have literally the queen, the greatest of all time,” he added.
The Coaches Make Their Case
Snoop Dogg played it cool but reminded Clark he was the first to turn. Quoting Talladega Nights, he joked, “Either you’re first or you’re last.” He promised to give her room to grow, along with the guidance needed to shape her artistry.
Niall Horan, meanwhile, drew a comparison to one of country’s biggest stars. “You had one of those really unique voices, kind of like Carrie Underwood, and it really pierced through,” he told her. Noting her emotional delivery, he guessed she was also a songwriter and said he’d love the chance to help her develop.
A Difficult ChoiceClark invited her parents onto the stage before making her decision, clearly moved by the moment. Looking at McEntire, she admitted, “Miss Reba, I love you so much. I have looked up to you my entire life.”
But in a surprise twist, Clark ultimately chose Team Niall.

Horan could hardly believe it, exclaiming, “There is a chance I could become a country coach! Who would’ve thought? It’s happening, people!”
