Steph McGovern made a triumphant return to daytime TV — and fans couldn’t get enough. The former Steph’s Packed Lunch host left viewers buzzing after appearing on This Morning, with many now begging ITV to make her a full-time presenter.

The 43-year-old journalist joined LBC’s Nick Ferrari on Thursday’s This Morning View segment, delivering sharp, witty analysis on everything from government spending to the North-South

 

divide. Her trademark Northern humour and financial know-how had fans flocking to social media to sing her praises.“Down to earth, funny, clever — she should be on more often, or better yet, presenting the show,” one viewer wrote. Another added bluntly: “Replace the regulars. Steph’s the one.”

This electric return comes months after Steph braved the jungle on Celebrity Bear Hunt, where a terrifying fall into a cliff left her injured and nearly out of the show. Despite being battered and bruised, she continued filming with a bandaged nose — but the series has since been cancelled after just one season.Back on home turf, Steph’s This Morning appearance felt like a homecoming — and now fans want her to stay.
