âMax looks at life differently than I do, but heâs very similar to me. We donât take life too seriously. The difference is that he grew up with a laptop. I had a desktop computer that I shared with my family. Honestly, he trained our dog on Reddit. I questioned, âAre you sure we should be doing this?â And he was like, âIt says so on Reddit,ââ Miley smiled as she explained.
Despite these differences, the couple shares common values. They bond over their sense of humor and their collaboration on Mileyâs new music. Max, who plays drums in the rock band Liily, co-wrote Mileyâs song *Something Beautiful* and produced most of the tracks for her upcoming self-titled album.
Miley revealed that she enjoys working with people close to her. âIâve always worked with my father. Thatâs how I met my ex-husband. Iâve always worked with people I love, and Max really inspires me,â she explained in an interview with *Harperâs Bazaar*.

Miley divorced Liam Hemsworth in 2019. The actor filed for divorce after less than a year of marriage. The split was painful for the singer, and they stopped communicating. Miley later dedicated her hit song *Flowers* to Liam.
