Marking what would have been Jayne Mansfield’s 90th birthday, Mariska Hargitay delivered a poignant tribute.

On Instagram, she shared a heartfelt message alongside a photo of her mother, expressing: “Mom, happy birthday. We love and miss you more and more every day.”

Additionally, Mariska treated her followers to a glimpse of cherished memories with her mother through a short video on her Instagram Story.

Jayne Mansfield, originally named Vera Jayne Palmer, graced the silver screen as a renowned actress, earning fame as a blonde bombshell during the 1950s and 1960s, often drawing comparisons to Marilyn Monroe.

Her notable roles included appearances in films such as “The Girl Can’t Help It,” “Promises! Promises!,” and “The Sheriff of a Fractured Jaw.” Additionally, she garnered attention as a Playboy Playmate.

Tragically, Jayne Mansfield’s life was cut short in 1967 at the age of 34, in a fatal car accident. At the time of the incident, her daughter Mariska, aged three, was also present but thankfully escaped unharmed. The accident claimed the lives of Jayne, her friend and lawyer Sam Brody, and their driver Ronnie Harrison.
