Last week, on January 14, Cole Walliser, best known as the creator and director of the GlamBOT, shared an Instagram post featuring a brief interaction he had with Jennifer Lopez on the carpet of the star-studded ceremony held on January 11.<\/p>\n

In the clip,\u00a0The Boy Next Door<\/em>\u00a0star was accused of \u201cignoring\u201d Cole despite him greeting her warmly and attempting to strike up a conversation while filming her GlamBOT for the event.<\/p>\n

Notably, social media users pointed out that Lopez \u201cbarely acknowledged\u201d Walliser and, for the most part, avoided direct eye contact with him in the video.<\/p>\n

One disappointed user wrote, \u201cI know it\u2019s part of being human, but a greeting with kind intentions doesn\u2019t hurt anyone. Awful.\u201d<\/p>\n

Amid the ongoing backlash targeting Lopez, Walliser shared a video yesterday suggesting that \u201cthe internet needs to just calm down\u201d following the viral exchange.<\/p>\n

The video, cryptically captioned, \u201cIs this tea or is this just me talking about work,\u201d featured Cole sitting at a table in a hotel room as he began by saying, \u201cI do get asked all the time, who was the worst GlamBOT? Who was the meanest? Who was the rudest?\u201d<\/p>\n

J.Lo was accused of not even acknowledging Cole\u2019s presence, with netizens describing her attitude as \u201ccold\u201d and \u201cdismissive\u201d<\/h3>\n

He continued, \u201cI\u2019m not here to tell anybody how they should feel, but there was only one other person outside of JLo that was in that conversation, and that person was me. These are some things that I\u2019ve actually wanted to say for a while, but there\u2019s never really been a chance to sort of like talk about the world at which the GlamBOTs exist.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBut now I guess is a great time to talk about what it\u2019s like on the carpet. The first thing to know about doing GlamBOTs is that GlamBOTs are completely elective. Nobody\u2019s forcing you to do these things. If you want to do it, you can.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cole also highlighted that if someone is \u201cin a bad attitude,\u201d they are not compelled to take part in the GlamBOT.<\/p>\n
