Miriam Margolyes pictured in 2018Despite her performance as Professor Sprout in the Harry Potter<\/a> films being among Miriam Margolyes<\/a>\u2019 most recognisable roles, the Bafta winner has always made no bones of the fact she\u2019s not a fan of the franchise herself.And in a new interview with New Zealand\u2019s 1News, she once again reiterated that she doesn\u2019t quite understand the Wizarding World\u2019s appeal.\u201cI worry about Harry Potter fans,\u201d she admitted, claiming: \u201cThey should be over that by now.\u201dMiriam continued: \u201cYou know, I mean, it was 25 years ago, and it\u2019s for children. I <\/em>think it\u2019s for children. But they get stuck in it.\u201dMiriam went on to share that as part of her work with Cameo, she gets messages from fans having \u201cHarry Potter-themed weddings\u201d, and pondered: \u201cGosh, what\u2019s their first night of fun going to be? I can\u2019t even think about it.\u201dThe former Call The Midwife<\/a> star concluded by praising the Harry Potter stories as \u201cwonderful\u201d, adding: \u201cI\u2019m very grateful to it\u2026 [but] it\u2019s over.\u201d<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
