King Charles\u00a0and\u00a0Queen Camilla\u00a0will soon be heading to\u00a0the Sandringham Estate\u00a0in Norfolk to celebrate the Christmas period with their family. But, even after a very difficult year for\u00a0the Royal Family, there could be another spanner in the works as union bosses are threatening to deprive the region of fuel supplies over Christmas and New Year.<\/p>\n

Drivers have announced their plan to walk out for 15 days between December 22 and January 25 in a dispute over pay.<\/p>\n

Also heading to Sandringham are expected to be the Prince and Princess of Wales and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, who stay at their home, Anmer Hall.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

And while he looks set to spend Christmas at\u00a0Royal Lodge\u00a0in Windsor, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor\u2019s next residence \u2013 widely reported to be\u00a0Marsh Farm \u2013 is also located on the Estate.<\/p>\n

As well as disrupting supplies to Sandringham, the drivers\u2019 strike will also affect schools, Royal Mail refuelling sites, military establishments and hundreds of Gulf Oil petrol stations, the union said.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

As for how the family are expected to celebrate the big day, the Royal Family website reads: \u201cOn Christmas Eve, The Royal Family lay out their presents on trestle tables and will exchange their gifts at teatime.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking to\u00a0The Express\u00a0before, royal expert Robert Jobson explained: \u201cOn Christmas Eve when all the clan are together, the Queen\u2019s grandchildren and great-grandchildren put the finishing touches to the 20ft Christmas tree in the White Drawing Room. Presents will be opened that day at teatime as the royals still keep to the German practice of opening their gifts on Christmas Eve.<\/p>\n

\u201cGifts are laid out in the Red Drawing Room on a white linen-covered trestle table, with cards marking exactly where the piles of gifts should be put.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mr Jobson went on to say that once \u201ceveryone has arrived\u201d the family enjoy \u201ca traditional Christmas\u201d which involves the gifting of \u201ccheap and humorous gifts.\u201d He added that the gifts are \u201cunlikely to be pricey\u201d.<\/p>\n
