What words can come to mind when your heart is broken? You never liked praise, so humble, but now you can\u2019t tell me to \u2018shut up\u2019 honey. There was, and will be, no one like you.\u201d<\/p>\n Hawn, who also worked with Keaton in the 2001 film \u201cTown and Country,\u201d said that Keaton \u201cstole the hearts of the world and shared your genius with millions, making films that made us laugh and cry in ways only you could.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI was blessed to make First Wives Club with you, our days starting with coffee in the makeup trailer, laughing and joking, right through to the very last day of filming,\u201d Hawn recalled. \u201cIt was a roller coaster of love.\u201d<\/p>\n Hawn also shared that the pair \u201cagreed to grow old together, and one day, maybe live together with all our girlfriends.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWell, we never got to live together,\u201d Hawn added, \u201cbut we did grow older together. I\u2019m going to miss the hell out of you.\u201d<\/p>\n A the end of her post, Hawn stated that her \u201cheart goes out\u201d to Keaton\u2019s two adopted children, daughter Dexter, 29, and son Duke, 25.<\/p>\n \u201cI love you,\u201d Hawn concluded.<\/p>\n Hawn, Keaton and Bette Midler starred in \u201cThe First Wives Club\u201d as three college friends and recent divorc\u00e9es who seek revenge on their ex spouses.\u00a0The 1996 movie<\/a>\u00a0helped revitalize the trio\u2019s careers and has become a cult classic.<\/p>\n Midler, 79, shared\u00a0her own tribute<\/a>\u00a0to Keaton on Instagram, reacting to the \u201cbrilliant, beautiful, extraordinary\u201d actor\u2019s death.<\/p>\n \u201cI cannot tell you how unbearably sad this makes me,\u201d Midler wrote. \u201cShe was hilarious, a complete original, and completely without guile, or any of the competitiveness one would have expected from such a star. What you saw was who she was\u2026oh, la, lala!\u201d<\/p>\n Keaton,\u00a0whose career<\/a>\u00a0spanned more than half a century,\u00a0died Saturday in California, her family confirmed.
