Lou Christie, the chart-topping teen idol known for his soaring falsetto and iconic hit \u201cLightnin\u2019 Strikes,\u201d passed away on June 17 at age 82.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>From Church Choir to Pop Charts<\/p>\n<p>Born Lugee Alfredo Giovanni Sacco in Glenwillard, Pennsylvania, Christie first discovered his voice in a church choir.
