Following the dogs\u2019 lead, officers were led through dense forest until they came upon a horrifying sight: Olivia was discovered chained to a tree, barefoot, bruised, and visibly dehydrated. The two dogs rushed forward and began barking loudly, drawing the attention of officers who were trailing close behind.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe was weak, but conscious,\u201d said Officer Thomas Riley, one of the first responders on the scene. \u201cShe reached out for the dogs. I think she knew she was safe the moment she saw them.\u201d<\/p>\n
