Rosie O\u2019Donnell wrote in an Instagram post that she was sickened by\u00a0Jeff Bezos<\/a>\u2018 lavish wedding to Lauren Sanchez in Venice, Italy. The days-long event featured a ton of A-list celebrities, from Sydney Sweeney to Leonardo DiCaprio, and prompted\u00a0widespread backlash\u00a0<\/a>and protests from Venice locals.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Oprah attended the Bezos wedding with longtime friend Gayle King, who is well-acquainted with Sanchez after their\u00a0space flight together<\/a>\u00a0earlier this year courtesy of Bezos\u2019 Blue Origin company. O\u2019Donnell expanded on her anti-Bezos thoughts in a post on her Substack page.<\/p>\n

Other celebrities who criticized the Bezos wedding include Oscar winner Charlize Theron, who\u00a0made a quip<\/a>\u00a0about Bezos\u2019 wedding guests while hosting her annual party for the Africa Outreach Project. She told attendees: \u201cI think we might be the only people who did not get an invite to the Bezos wedding. But that\u2019s ok because they suck and we\u2019re cool.\u201d<\/p>\n

O\u2019Donnell\u00a0made headlines<\/a>\u00a0earlier this year for revealing she fled America after the re-election of Donald Trump. She currently lives in Ireland and told\u00a0Variety<\/em> she has no plans on returning to the U.S. until Trump is out of office.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith the current political climate, when would it be safe to come back with my child?\u201d she asked. \u201cI\u2019m not going to push it before this administration is completely finished, and hopefully held accountable for their crimes.\u201d<\/p>\n
