Big news for\u00a0Blake Shelton\u00a0fans! After a couple of\u00a0cryptic posts\u00a0online that left people guessing, the acclaimed country singer has\u00a0announced the release of his next album.<\/p>\n

The Grand Ole Opry member made a major career shift last September when he parted ways with Warner Music Nashville, his label of more than twenty years. Shelton signed a new deal with BBR Music Group\/BMG Nashville, the label boasting Lainey Wilson, Jason Aldean, and Jelly Roll among their ranks.<\/p>\n

On Friday, March 14th, the \u201cAustin\u201d singer finally confirmed that his next studio album,\u00a0For Recreational Use Only<\/em>, will be released this May. The album is\u00a0available for preorder here<\/a>. He announced:<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been a long time since I\u2019ve had a new album out so I\u2019m thrilled to share that \u201cFor Recreational Use Only\u201d will be out May 9th!!!!\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Along With The Album Comes An Emotional New Single<\/h2>\n

With the exciting news of his next record, Blake Shelton delighted fans with a surprise drop of an emotional new single, \u201cLet Him In Anyway.\u201d He wrote:<\/p>\n

\u201cPLUS, listen to my new song \u2018Let Him In Anyway\u2019 off the record now. I have been working on this music for years, and I\u2019m beyond excited to finally share it with y\u2019all!!\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

His previous single, \u201cTexas,\u201d debuted in November and received more first-week radio adds than any other song in his career.<\/p>\n

According to a press release, \u201cLet Him In Anyway\u201d expresses the prayers of a man who is \u201choping for divine forgiveness for a lost friend who was just shy of redemption<\/em>.\u201d Shelton called the ballad \u201cone of the most powerful songs I\u2019ve ever had the chance to record.<\/em>\u201d He added:<\/p>\n

\u201cHardy is a co-writer and a friend, and I\u2019ve never heard a song like this before. When I first listened to it, I knew it was something special. It\u2019s an honor to bring it to life, and I\u2019m incredibly proud of the record we made.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
