In one, he\u2019s smiling wearing a black T-shirt and leather jacket. In the other, he\u2019s wearing a \u201cDetroit\u201d jacket and eating.<\/p>\n

Jennifer said, \u201cMy brother Jason would have turned 45 today! He loved basketball, so I celebrate his birthday during NBA All-Star weekend. Happy birthday in heaven, Jason!\u201d<\/p>\n

Jennifer recently mentioned on The Jennifer Hudson Show that she\u2019d be playing in the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game in memory of Jason. He, along with her mother and nephew, was tragically killed in 2008. The person responsible, William Balfour, is serving a life sentence.<\/p>\n

She said, \u201cHis birthday was February 17th, and he loved basketball too. So, in his honor, I celebrate his birthday this way.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jennifer announced her participation in the NBA All-Star Basketball Team, aiming to make her brother and son proud. She\u2019s training hard and seeking advice from professionals like Derek Fisher and Chris \u201cLethal Shooter\u201d Matthews.<\/p>\n
