While talking with Allure, Willow said \u201cI truly believe that my spirit is a strong spirit and that, even if my parents weren’t who they were, I would still be a weirdo and a crazy thinker.\u201dShe continued to admit that she gets \u2018a little bit’ insecure at times as people think she’s only famous because of her parents.\u201cI definitely think that a little bit of insecurity has driven me harder because people do think that the only reason I’m successful is because of my parents,\u201d she told the outlet.Related:<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0Paul Walter Hauser cast as mystery character in MCU’s Fantastic Four movie<\/span>She added: \u201cThat has driven me to work really hard to try to prove them wrong. \u201cThere have been some experiences where I went into a place that I have worked in the past and my picture could even be up on the wall, and they treat me like: \u2018This is a little bit out of your price range’ or \u2018You don’t really belong here,’\u201d she added.She continued: \u201cBeing Black in America, even with privilege, which I’m never going to deny that I have, you’re still Black. And I love being Black.\u201d\u201cPeople would look at me and [say]: \u2018Okay, well, her parents are this and this and that, but she still is like me. She still has brown skin.’\u201d<\/p>\n
