Not too bad,\u201d Isabella\u00a0said at the time.Isabella was diagnosed with medulloblastoma in October 2023 after experiencing headaches for a month during her first year of college at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.\u201cI didn\u2019t notice anything was off till probably like Oct. 1,\u201d she said in the GMA interview. \u201cThat\u2019s when I definitely noticed headaches, nausea, couldn\u2019t walk straight.\u201dAt first she blamed vertigo, but after she woke up one day in late October and began throwing up blood she knew something was seriously wrong.\u201cI was like, \u2018Hm, this probably isn\u2019t good.\u2019 So I texted [my sister], who then notified the whole family.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe id=\"instagram-embed-0\" class=\"instagram-media instagram-media-rendered\" src=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/C19cFA5uGGf\/embed\/captioned\/?cr=1&amp;v=14&amp;wp=540&amp;rd=https%3A%2F%2Fmagicalworldss.com&amp;rp=%2Fisabella-strahan-in-tears-as-she-gives-unexpected-update-on-cancer-battle%2F%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR24EqPJBhx0NFxRX3aUOSu8Dw4Jk9bZuzj6MzyCz1i6ENqQbl2P-le3j0Y_aem_ASWVA3EUUFcj1c4sQ8K8EqfF9LQbo1w34UU3BomDYf58itAB3Oa#%7B%22ci%22%3A0%2C%22os%22%3A1548%2C%22ls%22%3A698%2C%22le%22%3A1541%7D\" height=\"781\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-instgrm-payload-id=\"instagram-media-payload-0\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe>Since her diagnosis the road has been a tough one for Isabella as she fights to recover. In her latest YouTube video the teenager provided a positive update though, revealing that she would only have to go through four rounds of chemotherapy instead of six.\u201cThese are happy tears,\u201d\u00a0she said in the April 10 video. \u201cIt\u2019s not even considering crying when it\u2019s happy tears.\u201dGiven that Isabella finished her second road of chemo in March, she\u2019s now halfway done.\u201cI\u2019ll be done in May. And I can kind of try and have a summer to feel better,\u201d she added. \u201cAnd I\u2019m so happy cause I thought I\u2019d be done at the end of July. I was supposed to do six rounds in total. And then I really would just have to go straight back to school.
