This is the story of legendary actor Christopher Walken and his wife Georgianne Walken<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>two people who have defied the odds.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-113562 lazyloaded\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-main.newsner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2022\/11\/05192323\/shutterstock_135467525.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"379\" height=\"568\" data-src=\"https:\/\/cdn-main.newsner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2022\/11\/05192323\/shutterstock_135467525.jpg\" data-eio-rwidth=\"379\" data-eio-rheight=\"568\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Georgianne Walken was a casting director when she met Christopher Walken as they were working together. It was an instant connection that has lasted over half a century at this point.The couple met in 1963 during a theatre tour of <em>West Side Story<\/em>. The two of them portrayed a couple for the production and slowly but surely fell for one another during the process. Georgianne recalls that she knew pretty soon that Christopher was the only man for her and the couple wed one another just a short six years after that.\u201cWhen [I] met him, [I] knew he\u00a0had a\u00a0future. He\u00a0was good and was [going\u00a0to] be\u00a0better. It\u00a0was a\u00a0very compelling idea, and\u00a0I had never met anybody like that in\u00a0my\u00a0life,\u201d Georgianne said of their meeting.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-113560 lazyloaded\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-main.newsner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2022\/11\/05192324\/GettyImages-614283472.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"337\" height=\"463\" data-src=\"https:\/\/cdn-main.newsner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2022\/11\/05192324\/GettyImages-614283472.jpg\" data-eio-rwidth=\"337\" data-eio-rheight=\"463\" \/><\/p>\n<p>She decided to get a stable job so Christopher could focus on acting without having to worry about money. Luckily, her job landed her in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.newsner.com\/tag\/hollywood\/\">Hollywood<\/a>\u00a0once again, this time, however, she was behind the camera. She became a casting director and in this point of her career has about a 100 movies and shows under her belt. One of these shows include\u00a0<em>The Sopranos<\/em>, which even\u00a0led her to win an Emmy Award!Christopher was also successful in his acting career. He has an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in\u00a0<em>The Deer Hunter<\/em>\u00a0and a\u00a0BAFTA\u00a0for his role in\u00a0<em>Catch Me\u00a0If\u00a0You Can<\/em>.\u201cIt\u2019s very interesting being married to\u00a0a\u00a0man who is\u00a0constantly playing a\u00a0different person. You\u2019re always living with a\u00a0different person. He\u00a0never tells me\u00a0what part he\u2019s playing when he\u2019s getting ready. It\u00a0just descends on\u00a0me\u00a0one day. Very interesting,\u201d Georgianne has\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cheery.world\/discover-people\/christopher-walken-has-been-in-love-with-the-same-woman-for-59-years-they-decided-not-to-have-kids-and-keep-cats-instead-848\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">said<\/a>\u00a0about her husband.<strong>What an interesting life they have built together.
